WEEKLY THURSDAY WALKS

The Thursday Walkers meet in front of Horwich Leisure Centre at 10.30 for a moderately energetic walk (5 miles). The walks aim to finish back at the Leisure Centre for 12.30. On the third Thursday of the month there is a car ramble, we drive a few miles out from our usual starting point to explore different footpaths in the locality, the car rambles usually last 2.5 hours due to additional travel time. No car? No problem, someone will always give you a lift. You will be surprised with the variety of footpaths from woodland to moors that we explore, you will discover paths that you probably never knew existed. Sturdy footwear (preferably boots) essential. There is no need to book, just turn up and give it a try, you will be made most welcome.
